  • We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Ruby on Rails) to join our growing team.

  • As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in shaping technical direction, mentoring junior team members, and delivering scalable solutions that meet the diverse needs of stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and other developers to translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and high-performing applications.
  • Key responsibilities include full-stack development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, architecture and design participation, cloud and infrastructure management, Agile practices contribution, quality assurance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • A proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications in production environments is necessary.
  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails, with a deep understanding of Rails architecture, conventions, and performance optimization is essential.
  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is required.
  • Strong skills in relational database design, optimization, and query performance (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent) are needed.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
  • Candidates should be skilled in designing, building, and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • A strong background in automated testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest, or similar) and test-driven development (TDD) is required.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools is necessary.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, application-level security, and data protection standards is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to mentor junior developers and provide constructive code reviews.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a systematic, detail-oriented approach are required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in Agile teams, are necessary.
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to shifting requirements, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines is essential.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is required.
  • Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be willing and able to obtain a security clearance.
