The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (L3) position is remote-first and only candidates based in Malaysia will be considered.
Responsibilities include reviewing system architecture, ensuring operational excellence, managing security and compliance, leading release planning, incident management, disaster recovery, daily operations, documentation, and coaching junior staff.
The salary range for the L3 position is RM16,407 - RM18,047, with potential evaluation as L2 for junior candidates.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a proven track record of 3 to 5 years in managing software deployments and instrumentation in production environments with defined SLAs and SLOs.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, CloudFlare, or GCP, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or similar fields, or professional certificates such as Certified DevOps Professional or Certified Solutions Architect Professional in AWS or GCP is necessary.
Candidates should be capable of taking substantial features from concept to shipping as a sole contributor and work effectively in open-ended projects.
Strong problem-solving skills, quick thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships are essential.
Experience in a growth stage startup, building applications in different tech stacks, and a keen interest in decentralized technologies and cryptocurrencies are considered a plus.
