Remote Senior Software Engineer

• In this role, you will design and develop high-quality server-side code, including APIs and microservices.
• You will perform code reviews and contribute to the technical architecture of the Acquia marketing cloud codebase.
• Collaboration with team members and mentoring junior engineers will be key responsibilities.
• You will also work across various disciplines within the organization, including professional services, sales, product management, and executive management.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 4-7 years of JAVA software development experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and test-driven development is necessary.
• Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Concurrency is required.
• Candidates should have experience building Microservices and APIs.
• Strong SQL expertise is essential.
• Experience with Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., HBase, MongoDB) is required.
