Join Handshake as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on backend services for Handshake AI and internal AI initiatives.
Build and maintain backend services, shared platform capabilities, and developer tooling to support AI products.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend or platform engineering.
Strong experience with TypeScript, Next.js, relational databases (especially PostgreSQL), and cloud/containerized environments (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
Familiarity with backend technologies like Redis, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, and event-driven systems.
Practical knowledge of LLM-powered systems and ability to drive projects from definition to production rollout.
