0x is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Matcha team, which is a DEX aggregator that provides aggregated liquidity and efficient trade execution.
The role involves being an individual contributor on projects and leading technical projects of moderate to high complexity.
Responsibilities include offering insights during design reviews, creating high-quality and secure code, improving software delivery processes, consistently shipping code, coaching and mentoring other engineers, and empathizing with customers and users.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node/Express, Rust, AWS Cloud Services, Grafana, and Next.js.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in solving complex distributed computing problems.
A generalist background is required, with the ability to design and build systems from the ground up, including relational or key-value data stores, distributed event-driven architectures, cloud-based deployment (preferably AWS), external-facing REST/HTTP APIs, and monitoring dashboards (preferably Grafana).
Experience leading small to medium-sized projects as a tech lead with 2-4 other engineers is necessary.
Candidates should be able to research and apply technology appropriately to solve big problems, focusing on shipping high-quality code that provides maximum user and business value.
Experience in maintaining business-critical, high-volume, customer-facing applications, preferably SaaS or API platforms, is required.
Candidates should be up to date on emerging trends in modern backend technology solutions.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $230,000, plus equity, ZRX tokens, and benefits, with individual pay determined by skills, experience, location, and preferences.
