Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Join Atom Computing to build quantum computers using optically trapped neutral atoms.
• Work as a Senior Software Engineer to implement the quantum computing platform, spanning quantum job compilation, error correction, calibration, and data management.
• Collaborate with engineers and physicists, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager.
• Opportunities available in Boulder, CO, Austin, TX, or potentially fully remote.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of post-degree professional experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with C++ or Rust preferred.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and software development best practices.
• Willingness to learn atomic, optical, laser physics, and quantum mechanics concepts.
