Remote Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Description:

• Design, build, and evolve distributed systems in Go for scalable communication solutions.
• Collaborate across teams to debug issues and deliver reliable solutions.
• Own problems end to end, from architecture to monitoring.
• Share knowledge through videos, writing, and mentorship.
• Utilize AI agents for efficient multi-file changes.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in building scalable, distributed systems in Go or similar languages.
• Comfort with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL) and performance tradeoffs.
• Experience with observability tooling and operating production systems.
• A bias for action and pride in owning technical decisions.
