Description:

• Keeper Security is hiring talented JavaScript / ReactJS developers to join the Browser Extension team.
• This is a 100% remote position.

• The role involves developing and executing automated tests, enhancing test suites, and ensuring the quality of web applications.
• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing browser extension features that empower users to secure their digital lives.
• Technologies used include JavaScript, React, Redux, Jest, and more.
• The engineer will ensure that browser extensions are reliable, secure, and easy to use.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript development, including proficiency in core JavaScript concepts.
• At least 3 years of experience with React, Redux, Jest, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with browser extension development and understanding the unique challenges it presents.
• Familiarity with modern web development tools and workflows, including build tools like Webpack, version control using Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• A solid understanding of frontend architectures, including component-based development, state management, and UI/UX principles.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Ability to maintain and improve a large codebase, ensuring it remains stable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with security technologies and understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly regarding browser security and data protection.
• Experience with performance optimization for browser extensions, focusing on load times, memory management, and responsiveness.
• Familiarity with web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and accessibility best practices.
