Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Senior Backend Software Engineer on the DAO team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems for Credit Union members and staff.
• Own end-to-end problem-solving from business requirements to shipping reliable solutions with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams and external partners to enhance skills beyond engineering.

Requirements:

• 7+ years as a Software Engineer with backend experience in fast-paced environments (SaaS/Fintech preferred).
• Proficiency in backend technologies, preferably TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Experience in designing and building APIs and services in distributed systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
