Description:
- Apella is focused on improving surgical care through computer vision and machine learning.
- Seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Platform to enhance and operate a modern cloud data platform, including BigQuery and real-time streaming capabilities.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with dbt.
- Experience with batch orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
- Familiarity with BigQuery or equivalent cloud data warehouse tools.
- Solid experience with GCP infrastructure and strong engineering fundamentals.
- Nice to have: experience with data quality tooling, event-driven architectures, and CI/CD for data platforms.
