Remote Senior Software Engineer, Data

Description:

• Design, build, and operate data services and APIs for PlayOn's data platform.
• Own service design, define event contracts, and ensure quality and reliability across Data Products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in building production software systems, especially data services or platform APIs.
• Strong skills in Python and SQL, with experience in event-driven architectures and streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
• Experience designing and operating REST APIs and taking technical ownership of projects.
• Familiarity with AI-augmented development tools and preferred experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
