Description:
- Join Ditto's Query Engine and Store team to work on the storage and transaction layer of an embedded database.
- Responsible for backend abstraction, transaction management, concurrency control, and CRDT-aware document storage for edge devices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a Senior role, focusing on database internals or low-level systems programming.
- Proficiency in Rust or strong C/C++ skills with a willingness to learn Rust.
- Experience with embedded database systems (e.g., SQLite, RocksDB) and understanding of transaction isolation and concurrency control.
- Strong written communication skills for async collaboration in a fully distributed team.
