This frontend-focused role involves building integrations with Deepgram’s APIs in the API Playground and features for managing usage and billing in the developer console.
Recent launches include the voice agent playground, Aura-2 playground, and usage charts.
The team uses Elm across the frontend, leveraging its type system and architecture for efficient and safe development.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying web applications using Elm and other frontend technologies, collaborating with designers and product managers, breaking down product ideas into manageable tasks, balancing rapid prototyping with long-term maintainability, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience on a frontend or full-stack software engineering team.
Professional experience with Elm or a strong background in functional programming with an interest in Elm is required.
Expertise in modern frontend technologies and frameworks is necessary.
Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate technical tradeoffs collaboratively are essential.
