Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack

Description:

• Care Access is a multi-specialty network of research sites focused on revolutionizing access to clinical trials for patients.
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain software products that enhance operations and efficiency in clinical research.
• You will work with a cross-functional team using full-stack TypeScript to create user-friendly experiences.
• Responsibilities include developing full-stack web applications, implementing intuitive UIs from Figma mockups, and building secure backend APIs in Node and PostgreSQL.
• You will collaborate with engineers through code reviews and mentorship, maintain codebases, support production systems, and participate in Agile methodologies.
• This is a remote position with less than 10% travel required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in front-end and back-end web development is required.
• Strong proficiency in modern TypeScript, React, and Node.js is essential.
• Experience with functional programming techniques and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, is necessary.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is required.
• The ability to work independently in a remote-first team environment is important.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
