Description:

Design, develop, and operationalize high-performance, scalable backend services for the Connect Cloud Platform.
Build orchestration, auto-scaling, and lifecycle management systems for distributed Kafka Connect workloads.
Ensure resource isolation, security, and performance for diverse workloads on a shared platform.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving microservices, Kubernetes, and virtualization.
Drive operational excellence to meet availability and performance SLA commitments.
Identify and implement architectural, process, and operational improvements.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in designing, building, and supporting backend systems in production.
Proficiency in a major programming language (Java, Go, C/C++, Python).
Experience with distributed systems and microservices using tools like Kubernetes and Helm.
Strong project delivery and communication skills.
Experience in operational excellence for large production services.
BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
