  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining business-critical software, improving complex processes, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, writing clean code, and participating in the development life cycle.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in building and maintaining backend software is required.
  • Experience in building large-scale backend systems and managing elastic workloads using queue/worker and streaming architectures is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience scaling database platforms, including NoSQL and SQL.
  • Experience in migrating to modern scalable technologies from monolithic systems while maintaining high reliability and availability is essential.
  • A strong understanding of accounting and 401(k) domains is preferred.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a strong desire to learn, exchange feedback, and grow in both technical designs and retirement workflows.
  • The ability to write understandable, testable code with a focus on maintainability is required.
  • A proactive and empathetic mindset is essential, along with formal training in a computer science-related discipline (Bachelor's or Master's preferred).
