• The Senior Software Engineer II will join the Builders team, responsible for developing publishing tools for creators, including emails, landing pages, and newsletters.

• The engineer will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams and will be expected to take initiative and elevate team performance.
• The onboarding process includes diving into the codebase, understanding publishing tools, and leading major features within the first six months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have deep expertise in developing web applications, particularly with React, JavaScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is preferred, or candidates should be willing to learn it if they have experience with other backend frameworks.
• The ability to architect scalable and maintainable systems is essential, along with a solid understanding of frontend testing practices.
• Clear communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with Product and Design teams.
• Candidates should have experience leading complex technical projects and working with legacy codebases.
