Karius is a clinical metagenomics company focused on improving patient care through microbial insights and advanced diagnostic technology.
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions to support Karius’ mission in infectious disease diagnostics.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field with 5-7+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with experience in backend software solutions and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, cloud-based systems (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), and testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest).
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead technical work, and experience in healthcare or life sciences preferred.
