Description:
- Alt is focused on unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the trading-card market.
- The Senior Software Engineer will own the ledger system, manage money movement, and ensure reconciliation for financial transactions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend systems (Python, Postgres, AWS).
- Experience with real money movement (ACH, RTP, wires).
- Familiarity with double-entry ledgers and large transactions.
- Strong SQL and relational database design skills.
- Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in marketplace or two-sided flow environments.
- Strong focus on correctness, idempotency, and data consistency.
- Pragmatic approach to building solutions.
- Bonus: React and TypeScript experience, knowledge of distributed systems, and exposure to alternative asset space.
