Description:

Oversight of Core Application deliverables for product launches, post-launch features, customer acquisition, servicing, and middleware integration.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Core application initiatives.
Develop and deliver engineering solutions for products including Core Applications (Life Asia/Life400), CCM Solutions, and Underwriting Engines.
Collaborate with Business Product Owners and technical teams to define technical designs for product launches and enhancements.
Guide junior IT members and provide technical solutions to meet business demands.
Lead technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects and build relationships across teams.
Contribute to overall Policy Admin System architecture and maintain industry knowledge.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in the Insurance/Financial Industry, with a minimum of 5 years supporting Core Policy Admin systems, specifically Life Asia/Life400.
5+ years of COBOL/400 programming experience on LifeAsia/Life400 applications.
Knowledge of surrounding applications like underwriting engines and mobile applications.
Experience in omnichannel integration and strong understanding of environment management and deployment methodologies.
Solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and analytical abilities.
Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is a plus.
Strong understanding of Agile/Iterative delivery methodology.
