Remote Senior Software Engineer, Sandboxes (EU or East Coast Preferred)

Description:

• Join Docker's Sandboxes team to build secure, isolated microVM environments for AI coding agents.
• Contribute to the core of Docker's sbx product, enabling developers to run agents safely without affecting the host.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in production systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with developer tools, desktop applications, or runtime infrastructure.
• Familiarity with coding agents and their interaction with environments.
• Strong understanding of isolation and security boundaries in software.
• Proven ability to drive architecture and technical strategy across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first environment.
