The company is seeking an experienced Unreal Engineer to support a partner studio by developing a range of features within Unreal Engine.
Responsibilities include developing features, estimating and prioritizing tasks, collaborating with designers, integrating features for multiplayer games, conducting code reviews, and debugging issues on PC and console.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a team player, and able to manage multiple tasks.
The position is based in Saratoga Springs, NY, with a preference for local candidates willing to work in-office on a hybrid basis, but fully remote work is also supported for candidates in specific states.
Requirements:
Candidates must have five or more years of professional experience working on multiplayer games in Unreal Engine.
Excellent C/C++ programming skills are required, along with the ability to architect various gameplay mechanics and systems.
Experience in developing SDKs or plugins for other developers is necessary.
Candidates should have experience developing games for consoles and integrating with console SDKs.
Proficiency with third-party service integrations is required.
Understanding of Unreal Engine’s UI tools, asset systems, and networking framework is essential.
Familiarity with Entity Component Systems and preferably experience with Unreal’s MassEntity system is desired.
A proactive communication approach is necessary, especially in unblocking obstacles as part of a team.
Candidates must be willing to prioritize player experiences over personal code and ego.

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
