Remote Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications

Description:

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, and QA to shape feature planning and UI/UX architecture.
• Ensure quality and reliability across releases, taking ownership of the full lifecycle of features.
• Drive accessibility efforts by integrating and validating support for accessibility APIs.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Windows desktop application development with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and ideally C++.
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture and interop between managed and native code.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping production-quality desktop applications.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs and a commitment to building inclusive software.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals and experience leading technical design and mentoring.
