Description:
- Senior technical lead for customer engagements within Astronomer’s Professional Services team.
- Design and deploy data orchestration platforms on Astro, supporting delivery teams through complex implementations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
- Expertise in Airflow, including authoring and deploying Dags, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience guiding customers through platform deployments and managing stakeholder conflicts.
- Strong background in designing cloud-native data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Programming experience in Python and SQL; familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
