Description:

  • incident.io is the leading AI incident response platform, designed to help teams reduce incident response time and improve reliability.
  • The Solutions Engineering team serves as a bridge between the product and customer needs, working closely with Account Executives to showcase the platform's potential.
  • Responsibilities include being a founding member of the team, collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to understand customer requirements, and developing sales strategies.
  • The role involves enhancing understanding of the incident.io platform, planning and leading proof of concepts, and identifying areas for improvement in the sales process.
  • Solutions Engineers will work with customers to create tailored post-sales implementation plans, ensuring timely value realization.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in a similar role, preferably at a SaaS company, with experience in managing complex technical sales processes is required.
  • Candidates should possess an inquisitive and curious nature, demonstrating a desire for continuous learning about customers, technology, and incident management practices.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in sales processes, problem-solving, and customer collaboration is necessary, particularly in designing solutions and providing recommendations during pre and post-sales implementation.
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, with the ability to operate autonomously and create resources for future team members, is important.
