As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will drive Neo4j’s growth by articulating business value, shaping solutions that address customer needs, and accelerating adoption within enterprises.
You will engage in deep technical and business discovery, support the sales process through value-based selling, and collaborate with key partners, including hyperscalers and strategic ISVs to drive joint go-to-market initiatives.
Responsibilities include leading technical discovery, driving value-based selling, owning pre-sales engagement, mapping customer requirements to Neo4j product capabilities, developing proof-of-value demonstrations, and ensuring smooth handoff to Professional Services.
You will also work closely with key partners to drive joint solutions, develop enablement programs, collaborate on go-to-market strategies, and support local marketing events and community initiatives.
Requirements:
You should have deep expertise in value selling and a strong understanding of the sales process.
Experience in technical discovery, consultative solutioning, and mapping customer needs to technology capabilities is required.
You must possess graph database expertise, along with knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases, analytics, and data integration.
Strong experience working with hyperscalers, including understanding their data services and go-to-market strategies is essential.
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure technologies is necessary.
Knowledge of data visualization tools is also required.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are crucial for engaging technical teams and C-level executives.
You should be able to work in fast-paced, sales-driven environments and manage multiple customer and partner engagements.
Industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, Government, Security, or Telecommunications is a plus.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of pre-sales, professional services, or customer-facing technical experience is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is necessary.
Experience working with partners, including hyperscalers, ISVs, and system integrators is important.
You must be able to work independently in a cross-functional, global organization and be willing to travel as needed.
