The Senior Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer will provide exemplary pre-sales support to the sales team, focusing on territory and enterprise accounts.
This role involves driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts within the assigned territory and meeting or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals.
The position will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement for prospects in the ASEAN region.
Requirements:
A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have security analytics experience.
At least two years of experience as a field system engineer or consultant is necessary.
A minimum of two years of experience in the software industry as a field system engineer is required.
Excellent knowledge of general networking concepts and Linux is essential.
A strong understanding of security and information event management (SIEM) is required.
Hands-on experience with tools such as ArcSight, SPLUNK, Net Witness, QRadar, and McAfee SIEM is necessary.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl is required.
Candidates must be confident in front of customers and audiences.
A passion for sales and technology, with a desire to grow a sales engineering career, is essential.
Candidates should be coachable and able to take training and feedback positively.
A self-motivated attitude and strong work ethic are required.
Clear, concise, and effective communication skills are necessary.
Strong presentation skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential.
Demonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations is required.
The ability to proactively drive Strategic and Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accounts is necessary.
