Description:

Senior Staff Software Engineer role focused on technical vision, architecture standards, and high-leverage projects in cloud compute, traffic, security, and reliability.
Responsible for the technical design and implementation of systems powering Temporal Cloud, leading discussions with stakeholders and mentoring engineers.

Requirements:

Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with significant time at the Senior/Staff IC level.
Expert-level design and coding skills, with deep knowledge of performance tuning, concurrency, and distributed systems architecture.
Extensive experience in large-scale public cloud infrastructure and hands-on expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Estimated pay range of $260,000 - $312,000, plus eligibility for equity plan.
