Remote Senior / Staff Software Engineer, ML Datasets & Data Pipelines

Description:

• Design and implement scalable ML data pipelines for training and evaluating Waabi’s autonomous driving platform.
• Optimize data formats and dataloading for efficient ML training and evaluation.
• Improve data sampling for deep introspection and model performance tracking.
• Write high-quality, well-structured, and rigorously tested code.
• Drive project roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Hands-on experience with distributed ETL and data processing pipelines.
• Experience managing ML pipelines, including dataset management and optimization.
• Strong understanding of cloud job orchestration and monitoring best practices.
• Collaborative approach with a passion for autonomous technology and mentoring others.
