Remote Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Platform

Description:

• Join an early-stage AI manufacturing supply chain startup as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer on the platform team.
• Build backend services, data pipelines, and AI-powered systems to support procurement and supply chain operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of production experience in backend services, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AI development, including NLP/ML pipelines and OCR techniques.
• Recent experience with Next.js, TypeScript, agentic frameworks, and PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Experience designing transactional systems with ACID guarantees and reliable event-driven processing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and third-party APIs, including legacy interfaces.
• Background in manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a startup environment.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with production monitoring and incident response.

Benefits:

• Base salary range of $160,000 to $250,000 annually.
• Visa sponsorship available.
• Remote role with San Francisco, California as the primary location.
