Remote Senior System Administrator (Linux, Networking & Automation) - (REF5385S)

Description:

• Operate and enhance the Open Telekom Cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner.
• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend.
• Install and configure software and hardware, manage network devices, and monitor system performance.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls while automating processes with common frameworks.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong experience in Linux, Bash, and network-related services.
• Very good knowledge of physical and virtual networks, routing, and firewalls.
• Extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation and high customer focus.
• Knowledge of agile development processes is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
