The Senior Web Analyst supports the Colibri Group analytics team by managing and maintaining accurate data collection processes.
This role involves cleaning and organizing data, as well as developing actionable reports to guide strategic decisions.
The analyst ensures data integrity, supports troubleshooting efforts, and drives the creation of insights that enhance marketing and business outcomes.
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Analytics, this position plays a critical role in fostering a data-informed culture and improving the efficiency of digital marketing operations.
Responsibilities include leveraging advanced analytical techniques and tools, such as SQL, Python, or R, to process and analyze large datasets for high-impact business insights.
The analyst conducts statistical analysis to understand the significance and relevance of results, including methods such as the two-proportion z-test.
Comprehensive digital funnel analyses, including multi-touch attribution modeling and advanced segmentation strategies, are conducted to uncover conversion barriers.
The analyst serves as a technical expert on Matomo and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), with hands-on experience in setting up and customizing Enhanced eCommerce tracking, advanced filters, and data layers.
Support for complex debugging and troubleshooting for data inconsistencies across platforms is required, utilizing browser developer tools, network tab analysis, and third-party integrations.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are upheld.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience working with advanced web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Matomo, Adobe Analytics, or similar, with a proven track record of leveraging custom dimensions, segments, and Enhanced eCommerce features.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with Power BI to collect, clean, and publish reports, dashboards, and semantic models is required.
Experience in mixed media modeling to integrate online and offline data sources for comprehensive marketing analysis is necessary.
Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is important to understand how marketing analytics can support these areas.
A strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including SEO, SEM, email, and programmatic advertising, and their respective tracking methodologies is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data collection and integration issues related to unfamiliar technologies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations is required.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment are necessary.
