Dailymotion is seeking a dynamic and motivated Site Reliability Engineer with a strong interest in site reliability and software production.
The role is part of the Platform team, focusing on building an internal Platform-as-a-Service running on Kubernetes.
Responsibilities include maintaining and evolving the Continuous Delivery (CD) platform based on FluxCD.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for efficient orchestration and scalable, resilient architecture.
The position involves using AGILE methodologies in collaboration with other teams to support Dailymotion's business growth.
Key responsibilities include ensuring platform reliability and performance through testing, automation, and monitoring.
Participation in the on-call program for application support, incident management, and troubleshooting production issues is required.
The role also involves optimizing the use of Kubernetes clusters in an AWS environment, focusing on performance and cost-effectiveness.
Ensuring a high level of platform security and maintaining/improving the CD platform and delivery workflows are essential tasks.
The candidate will share best practices with peers and collaborate with developers to understand their requirements.
Guidance on MLOPS and Data architectures, as well as maintaining detailed documentation of engineering processes, is expected.
Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and DevOps is crucial for driving innovation.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps is required.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is necessary.
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform, is required.
Candidates must have strong expertise with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
Expertise in Continuous Delivery pipelines, particularly Flux, is essential.
Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including FinOps best practices, is required.
Experience with Data lifecycle management, including storage policies and security, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in Data pipelines for ML models using tools like Airflow and DataFlow.
Experience in optimizing ML infrastructure, including GPUs and TPUs, is required.
Proficiency in CI pipelines, such as Tekton and Jenkins, is necessary.
Strong programming skills in Python are required, along with experience in Bash scripting; knowledge of Go or Rust is a plus.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for effective teamwork.
The candidate should have the ability to drive innovation and advocate for best DevOps practices.
Excellent English communication skills are required for working in an international team.
