  • The Site Reliability Engineer will manage, maintain, improve, and provide support for the Tyk platform.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining global Tyk Cloud, identifying reliability issues, introducing new metrics, participating in on-call rotation, and documenting operational knowledge.
  • The role involves automating common tasks, conducting post-incident analysis, and driving operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong collaboration skills are essential for this position.
  • Experience in launching and operating production scale Kubernetes clusters is required.
  • Candidates must have experience designing and operating infrastructure on AWS and other providers.
  • Proficiency in operating MongoDB or other document database clusters is necessary.
  • Experience in operating Redis or other key-value storage clusters is required.
  • Candidates should have experience administering Linux servers and maintaining distributed software.
  • Familiarity with operating Prometheus and Grafana is necessary.
  • Experience with logging collection and analysis systems is required.
  • Participation in the on-call rotation (4:00-16:00 UTC) is expected.
