The Site Reliability Engineer will manage, maintain, improve, and provide support for the Tyk platform.
Responsibilities include maintaining global Tyk Cloud, identifying reliability issues, introducing new metrics, participating in on-call rotation, and documenting operational knowledge.
The role involves automating common tasks, conducting post-incident analysis, and driving operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Strong collaboration skills are essential for this position.
Experience in launching and operating production scale Kubernetes clusters is required.
Candidates must have experience designing and operating infrastructure on AWS and other providers.
Proficiency in operating MongoDB or other document database clusters is necessary.
Experience in operating Redis or other key-value storage clusters is required.
Candidates should have experience administering Linux servers and maintaining distributed software.
Familiarity with operating Prometheus and Grafana is necessary.
Experience with logging collection and analysis systems is required.
Participation in the on-call rotation (4:00-16:00 UTC) is expected.
