The Site Reliability Engineer will manage, maintain, improve, and provide support for the Tyk platform, focusing on incident management and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include maintaining the global Tyk Cloud, identifying reliability issues, introducing new metrics, participating in on-call rotations, documenting operational knowledge, conducting post-incident analysis, and automating common tasks.
Requirements:
Strong collaboration skills are essential for this role.
Experience in launching and operating production scale Kubernetes clusters is required.
Candidates must have experience designing and operating infrastructure on AWS and other cloud providers.
Proficiency in operating MongoDB or other document databases is necessary.
Experience with operating Redis or other key-value storage clusters is required.
Candidates should have experience administering Linux servers and maintaining distributed software.
Familiarity with operating Prometheus and Grafana is necessary.
Experience with logging collection and analysis systems is required.
Participation in the on-call rotation (4:00-16:00 UTC) is expected.
