Remote Social Automation Platform Engineer (Full-Stack, AI/LLM)

Description:

• The role involves owning the platform that transforms the asset database into AI-generated, approval-gated, and auto-scheduled social campaigns across Meta and other channels.
• Responsibilities include building backend services, a UI module for composing, approving, and scheduling campaigns, and reporting systems to ensure reliable campaign publishing with guardrails, observability, and traceability.
• The UI module will allow teammates to select assets from the database, generate LLM variants, preview content per platform, route for approval, and schedule posts.
• The engineer will implement and maintain the Meta Graph API for various functionalities including OAuth, publishing, webhooks, pagination, rate-limit handling, retries, and error classification.
• The role requires enforcing brand and policy checks, managing blocked terms, size/format limits, and approval gates, while logging every action for auditability.
• Responsibilities also include building timezone-aware schedulers, queues, and backoff/retry strategies, and providing live status updates via webhooks and alerts.
• The engineer will automatically attach campaign/UTM metadata, ingest Insights/Analytics into the data warehouse, and create dashboards for performance and SLA monitoring.
• The role emphasizes reliability and security by instrumenting traces, metrics, and logs, setting SLOs, creating runbooks, and implementing RBAC and secrets management.
• Collaboration with Marketing/Brand, Data, and Legal teams is essential to translate briefs into prompt templates, define schemas, and ensure policy compliance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in building production web applications or services, preferably using Python or Node, with experience in queues/workers and job schedulers.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2 and the Meta social platform API, including publishing, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, and error handling.
• Experience in LLM orchestration, including prompt templates, content validation/moderation, and ensuring safe outputs.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in shipping ETL connectors and familiarity with modern data warehouses and BI tools such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Looker, or Metabase.
• Proficiency in front-end development using React and TypeScript to create a clean, role-aware workflow UI.
• A proven track record of shipping observability features, including metrics, logging, and tracing, as well as writing runbooks and tests.
