Description:

  • The company is seeking a senior Software Architect to set technical direction, lead through influence, and drive architecture decisions across the entire organization.
  • This role is positioned at the intersection of technology strategy, architecture excellence, and engineering leadership.
  • The Software Architect will collaborate with senior engineers and engineering leaders across multiple teams and locations to shape the design, build, and evolution of the platform.
  • The position is part of the Technical Enablement Team, working closely with the Director of Engineering to define a global reference architecture.
  • Responsibilities include defining and evolving the company-wide architecture and technology vision, establishing architectural principles and standards, and driving their adoption through collaboration.
  • The architect will guide and mentor over 50 engineers, support senior developers in making architectural trade-offs, and act as a trusted advisor for complex initiatives.
  • The role also involves ensuring successful execution of large technical initiatives, improving platform scalability and stability, and assessing the technical skills of senior engineers.
  • Success in this role will be measured by the team's understanding of architecture analysis, the ability to make autonomous architectural decisions, and the contribution to a positive work atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have proven experience in developing complex software solutions and delivering high-quality software systems, preferably SaaS services.
  • A strong background in architecture design and documentation is required.
  • Applicants should have a successful track record of re-architecting existing systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of modern programming languages such as C#, Python, and Java is necessary.
  • Deep experience with REST APIs and documentation of REST endpoints is essential.
  • Experience with Cloud Native development and microservices architectures is required.
  • Candidates should have DevOps experience, including CI/CD, automated pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization, and Kubernetes.
  • The ability to drive change and influence without formal authority is crucial.
  • Excellent presentation and data visualization skills are needed, along with fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Additional qualifications that will make candidates stand out include knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and GCP, experience with the OKR framework, and familiarity with AI-enabled development.
