Remote Software Developer Junior (Delphi, Oracle PL/SQL) ---- (Remote work)

Description:

• The position is for a Software Developer Junior specializing in Delphi and Oracle PL/SQL, and it is a remote role based in Brazil.
• The candidate must be fluent in English and have experience with Delphi, Oracle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• The role involves working with a dedicated team to develop enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and support its multiple customers.
• Responsibilities include estimating complexity and workload, choosing appropriate technical solutions, designing, developing, and deploying changes to the LIMS, and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality solutions.
• The candidate will also ensure good practices and high-quality standards are implemented and followed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later, with Delphi 12 being preferable.
• At least 2 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong working knowledge of server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• A good understanding of relational databases, specifically Oracle 9i, 11c, or later.
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Clear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architects.
• Some experience in test-driven development and test automation is required.
• Comfort with unit testing and mocking with Delphi is necessary.
• The ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions is essential.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a similar field is required.
