The company is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test II to enhance their test infrastructure and tooling for the financial industry.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable test infrastructure, automation frameworks, and developer-facing tools to improve product reliability.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure testability in features, developing strategies for integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and creating reusable tooling for automated tests.
The position also requires identifying gaps in existing testing strategies, analyzing complex failures in automated test systems, and mentoring developers on effective testing practices.
The role emphasizes continuous improvement of QA automation tooling and leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for smarter automation workflows.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a C1 or C2 level of English proficiency.
Proven experience as a Software Developer in Test II (SDET2) or a similar role is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development or test automation is necessary.
Expertise in automated testing and modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, and xUnit is essential.
A deep understanding of full-stack web application architecture is required.
Candidates should be structured, detail-oriented thinkers with awareness of broader system goals.
Quick learning, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are important.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) are necessary.
Enjoyment of team collaboration, continuous learning, and building scalable solutions is expected.
A data-driven mindset with a preference for experimentation and iterative improvement is preferred.
Interest or experience in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into development or testing workflows is a plus.
