The role involves building backend systems to make the lab programmable and architecting data pipelines for protein characterization.

Requirements:

Strong experience in designing and building production backend systems, preferably using Python and TypeScript with Postgres.
Experience in building data pipelines and processing infrastructure for large volumes of heterogeneous data.
Comfortable with API design and systems integration to connect hardware and software.
Genuine interest in biology, with excitement about running experiments in the physical world.
High-autonomy and founder mindset, able to prioritize and work independently.
Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, focusing on effective solutions rather than specific tools.
Experience writing code with and without AI, understanding good code and architecture principles.
