Description:
- Join Databento's core engineering team as a midlevel or senior Software Engineer (C++/Java).
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Java client library and optimizing performance-sensitive codebase.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in trading firms or tech startups.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Java; C# experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with API design, open source best practices, and systems programming.
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic for remote work.
- Interest in low-level optimization and financial data or algorithmic trading.
