Description:

  • Snapsheet is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Data team, which focuses on data and analytics for their platforms.
  • The role involves building internal tools, improving visibility into business operations, and supporting scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining internal tools for data flows and reporting, designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, and ensuring data quality and reliability.

  • Contributions to backend services and frontend interfaces related to data tooling are expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 2–3 years of full-stack web development experience.
  • Strong frontend skills in React, JavaScript, or other web frameworks are necessary.
  • Foundational experience or interest in Ruby on Rails is preferred, along with familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Comfort in writing and optimizing SQL queries is required.
  • Exposure to or curiosity about ETL pipelines and data modeling is beneficial.
  • A solid understanding of web application architecture and modern development best practices is expected.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with data, is essential.
  • A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative working style are important.
  • Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn and iterate quickly are necessary.
