The company is seeking a software engineer with hands-on full stack experience in application development to support transformational work across the Forensics divisions.
The role is remote, with flexibility to attend meetups in Birmingham and Tamworth as needed.
Key responsibilities include trusting your software, participating in iteration planning and estimation, increasing development experience, taking responsibility for pull requests, and maintaining team documentation wikis.
The software engineer will focus on front-end SPA development with Blazor, .NET Core API development with C#, and using Entity Framework.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in the full software development life cycle within an agile team, including story estimation, planning, and grooming a product backlog.
Practical experience in building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs is required.
Front-end SPA framework experience is necessary.
A good working knowledge of tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, GIT Source control, and SQL Server Management Studio/Azure Data Studio is essential.
Desirable skills include Continuous Integration and Deployment using Azure DevOps, experience with Hangfire, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, and familiarity with Test Driven Development and writing Unit Tests.
Applicants must have five years of continuous residency in the UK to obtain security clearance, which is required for this role.
