Description:

Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer II for customer identity and authentication within Information Security.
The role involves building and maintaining backend services for registration, login, authorization, and account lifecycle flows across B2C and B2B experiences.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, or similar languages; no fixed minimum years of experience required.
Foundational understanding of backend development, APIs, data structures, databases, and version control.
Genuine curiosity about authentication and motivation to build secure customer experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively.
Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
