The company is seeking Software Engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and integrated logistics solutions as it expands into new markets.
The role involves participating in a team practicing agile scrum and executing test-driven development on assigned projects.
Responsibilities include practicing source code management strategies, ensuring security, performance, and scalability in decisions, and documenting knowledge.
The position requires collaboration with multiple teams to deliver complex software solutions and promoting best software engineering practices.
Engineers will experiment with new technologies to enhance team capabilities and contribute to the Teleport Product & Technology team.
Requirements:
A BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, along with 5+ years of related software engineering experience is required.
Candidates must be comfortable coding in Java and have experience with Webflux.
Strong experience in MongoDB and PostgreSQL is required, with additional knowledge of GraphDB and NoSQL being advantageous.
Experience in automation and improving Development/QA processes using CI/CD tools such as BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle is necessary.
A solid understanding of Git, including branching and merging strategies, is essential.
Expertise in microservices architecture for designing and building RESTful APIs is required.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment solutions, specifically GCP and AWS, is necessary.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift is considered an asset.
Familiarity with application performance monitoring software and tools for application logging, monitoring, and performance management (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Google Cloud Logging) is required.
Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is also necessary.
