Remote Software Engineer (iOS)

Description:

• The position is remote, but candidates must be within 2 hours of Singapore Time (SGT).
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software for the exchange, primarily for iOS and other platforms.
• The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, test, and ship features.
• The candidate will troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance and reliability.
• This is an individual contributor role.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have the technical ability to design and implement feature intentions into reliable and efficient code.
• Strong programming, design, and development skills in Swift and/or other languages are required.
• An interest in soft/firm real-time apps and optimizations for them is necessary.
• Experience in production for published commercial apps with backend services is essential.
• A solid understanding of Apple platforms, technologies, and conventions is required.
• The ability to work autonomously in distributed remote teams with both synchronous and asynchronous communication is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English.
• Experience in native Android development or a willingness to learn is preferred.
• Knowledge of how to use AI, understand/check AI results, and fix erroneous AI results is required.
