Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Qomodo is hiring a Software Engineer to join their Tech team.
• The role involves working on back-end projects using a variety of technologies, including Low/No Code tools.
• The candidate will help organize and build the ecosystem to support the network of merchants using Qomodo.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in a Product or Tech company.
• Professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, NextJS/NestJS, React, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker is required.
• The candidate should be familiar with concepts and practices such as Domain Driven Design, eXtreme Programming, Test Driven Development, and DevOps.
• Experience in architectural and application design for complex web applications with thousands of users and high maintainability is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
• The candidate should possess curiosity, empathy, and a strong sense of ownership.
• A desire to grow alongside the team is important.
• Good written and spoken English is required.
• Candidates must reside in Italy, as the company is not hiring freelancers or contractors at this time.
