• Lime is seeking a strong software engineer for the Rider team to enhance the user experience for customers.
• The Rider team is crucial to Lime’s business, responsible for improving the core riding experience, including signup, onboarding, trip flow, pricing, and subscriptions.
• The goal is to create the perfect experience for customers to encourage them to become power users.
• Responsibilities include identifying and solving consumer-facing rider problems, architecting scalable product platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping core rider experiences.
• The role involves making technology and architecture decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring other engineers, and advising Lime’s leadership on technology adoption and process improvements.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building impactful products or systems is required.
• A customer-obsessed mindset, prioritizing customer needs in all decisions.
• Strong data insight and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• An owner’s mindset, demonstrating self-starting capabilities and the ability to see projects through to completion.
• Strong collaboration skills, understanding cross-functional strategies and involving key stakeholders in decision-making.
• A passion for Lime's mission and micromobility, with a desire to see cities transform into people-centric and less polluted environments.
• An outcomes-oriented approach, focusing on impact and having a history of driving meaningful business results.
• Strong influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and empower the team to exceed expectations and drive bar-raising activities.
• Preferred experience of at least 1 year coding in Ruby on Rails.
