Remote Software Engineer (TypeScript, Tokens, Widgets, Exchange)

Description:

• The Software Engineer will join the GameFi team within Immutable Play to help build a leading end-to-end platform for scaling web3 games.
• The role involves addressing player onboarding challenges through Immutable Passport, a non-custodial wallet and authentication solution.
• The GameFi Team enables studios to launch and trade tokens and NFTs, with the engineer working on infrastructure like Swap and Bridge widgets, tokenization tooling, and trading mechanisms.
• The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders and will have significant autonomy within a data-driven and collaborative squad of 6 members.
• Responsibilities include building high-impact features, designing and developing widgets for trading tokens and NFTs, and participating in product design sessions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of engineering experience in product-focused environments.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development is required.
• Experience in testing client-side applications, including unit, component, and integration testing, is necessary.
• Proven ability to write readable and testable code is essential.
• A passion for creating user-centric products with care and empathy is expected.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are required.
• A product mindset with a willingness to help shape technical direction is important.
• Hands-on experience in developing and designing backend solutions using Golang or similar languages is needed.
• Experience in developing and designing frontend solutions using React is required.
• Familiarity with trading domains, including centralized or decentralized exchanges, is preferred.
• Experience with widgets that wrap third-party tools and conducting UX and technical audits of SaaS platforms is beneficial.
