  • We are looking for a passionate and skilled QA Engineer to join our team and help raise the bar for software quality across the company.
  • As a QA Engineer at Smeetz, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall excellence of our products.
  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, help implement best-in-class testing strategies, and contribute directly to delivering seamless, high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Responsibilities include defining and executing clear test plans and strategies with strong coverage, identifying risks early, and ensuring all features are properly validated.
  • You will perform manual and automated tests across web and mobile platforms, maintain automation scripts, analyze results, and track defects until resolved.
  • You will apply and improve QA best practices, manage test cases and regressions, review UI quality, and ensure consistent, reliable product releases.
  • You will work closely with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, share insights, and communicate test results clearly.
  • You will drive improvements in QA tools, processes, and automation, seeking opportunities to increase efficiency and overall product quality.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing methodologies is required.
  • You must have an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Experience in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript) is essential.
  • You should have experience with testing APIs.
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or similar tooling, is necessary.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is a minimum entry qualification.
