We are looking for a passionate and skilled QA Engineer to join our team and help raise the bar for software quality across the company.
As a QA Engineer at Smeetz, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall excellence of our products.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, help implement best-in-class testing strategies, and contribute directly to delivering seamless, high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Responsibilities include defining and executing clear test plans and strategies with strong coverage, identifying risks early, and ensuring all features are properly validated.
You will perform manual and automated tests across web and mobile platforms, maintain automation scripts, analyze results, and track defects until resolved.
You will apply and improve QA best practices, manage test cases and regressions, review UI quality, and ensure consistent, reliable product releases.
You will work closely with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, share insights, and communicate test results clearly.
You will drive improvements in QA tools, processes, and automation, seeking opportunities to increase efficiency and overall product quality.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing methodologies is required.
You must have an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
Experience in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript) is essential.
You should have experience with testing APIs.
A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or similar tooling, is necessary.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is a minimum entry qualification.
